This Butterfly design handcrafted writing journal is made out of the leaves from the Butterfly leaf tree(daun kupu kupu), the bark of the Fern Tree (pakis lemputu), bean pods (lontoro), nutshells (panggi), papaya fibers, and the veins of the palm leaf (lidi).

These unusual handmade blank writing journals will have you dreaming of beaches, palm trees, deserted islands and inspire some very creative writing.  They are handcrafted and very eco friendly.  Each Blank Journal is made by artisans on the Island of Bali.  The paper is created from recycled bamboo fibers and the covers are made from indigenous plants and trees from Indonesia.  They made great eco gifts.
